The Late Queen was prompted by my desire to sculpt a comprehensive line of quality 15mm miniatures for the spanish civil war. As a gamer I found the existing 15mm scw ranges somewhat incomplete to my taste. What I wanted was greater variation in poses so that no two stands needed to have duplicate figures.
The first range is the CTV: Italians in Adrian helmets. Next will be the militias, early Republicans and Carlists in no particular order. I will also do extra heads for conversions and some special figures for variety. My plan is to do 3 command bags of 8 different figures each – one for each “faction”. Then maybe 4 or 5 bags of 8 different infantry. Each bag will most likely be composed of 3-4 firing/loading poses and 5-4 advancing poses. To that, add mmg teams, mortars, gun crews etc.
In 2007-2008 the Army of Africa in early uniforms will arrive.
Since this is only a part time operation I really don’t base my budget on any revenue I get from selling the figures, so I can promise you that the range will grow steadily. I should manage to release one or two new lines every year.
